Onychauxis or onychogryphosis are both nail conditions that present themselves as thick, gross, and distorted nails.
Treatment includes reducing the nail with a drill burr and addressing the underlying issue.
Involuted nails can lead to discomfort, pain, and even infections if the nail is digging into the skin underneath.
Treatment includes shaving the edges of the nail, using Onyfix to straighten the nail, or a toe nail surgery to cut the extra edge off.
Onychomycosis is the medical condition of having a fungus infection of the nails. The nails may become thick, discolored, and have an accumulation of keratin and debris under the nail.

Treatment includes physical drilling to remove as much of the fungus population as possible, nail application of antifungal solutions, and using a light therapy device (ToeFX).
